Gload Saves
I starting inking this strip before Thornton entered tonight's game. By the time I got to the third panel, he blew the save and I had to change plans. I really wanted to stay positive and celebrate Gload, Buehrle, and Thornton. Oh well. Thornton's out of control arm is funnier anyway. And Gload came through with a big RBI in the 10th. It all works out in the end.

I love Matt Thornton. He's been a rock, and has been, on the whole, a more reliable anchor than Jenks, who gets sloppy after a few batters and has had a miserable July.
Last night wasn't hot, but he's all right.
Either way, I loved this one. I love all your comics, though. :)
Jenks miserable July has given him an ERA almost as high as Dempsters. Not good
Uh-oh, looks like Matt's Arm fell off the wagon ... this can only end in tears ... but thankfully didn't last night.
