Chemistry is Important

Thanks for stopping by. New strips will be posted at least 3 days a week until the real action starts on April 2nd.
These drawings are frikkin awesome! The mark of quality is that you can recognize the players/coaches at first glance without having to figure out who it is. Buehrle is the exception, but his outfit captures his personality perfectly! THESE CARTOONS FRIKKIN ROCK!
Your work is great, but I have an off topic comment. I think we should lower the Jolly Bossard to half staff and take a moment of silence for a fallen man. Kirby Puckett may have been the "enemy", but he played the game right and was a great man. Please, honor a fallen foe. Thank you.
Some of you are obviously not real Sox fans if this bothers you. If you know the team and the team's personality, you would find this to be extremely funny. And I'm sure the team would as well...give it up, it's funny. There's nothing wrong with cracking jokes at your team.
The "Puckett" comment was figurative. I did not expect the artist to incorporate this in his comic. It was more of a comment for all of us to lower our "Jolly Bossard" in our soul and reflect on what this man brought to BASEBALL, not women or the like. Plus, playing 200 + games during his career vs. the White Sox means he has something to do with Sox history. I'm sure the artist will depict current foes in his comics, which I'm sure has nothing to do with the White Sox... right?
And for the record; no offense is ever taken. ;) It's all good over here. The comic is fantastic and I truly enjoy reading it. Always makes me smile. Peace!
Puckett also did nothing to acknowledge his hometown. He adopted Minneapolis as his hometown and supported Chicago in no way.
He has absolutely nothing to do with the White Sox. I have friends that grew up in Bridgeport...are they considered White Sox, nope. The point is, he has no affiliation with the White Sox and has not had any affiliation with Chicago besides growing up here.
Man - this is one great cartoon series - love OZZIE as Capt Hand. The AJ smacking Anderson is destined to be a classic !! Your out there Carlos and it's a good thing !!!! Keep it up - this even beats the series you did for the ISU newspaper !!!!

It's a good thing you're showing the White Sox utter lack of ability to win a game.
Would you do all of us a favor and please go away. There has to be other things in life you can do seeing you are such a "talented illustrator".
You suck ass you donkey raping shit eater.
Wow, lots of negativity here!
Don't listen to 'em. Keep up the excellent work!
Maybe 40 oz can enlighten us with some more great quotes from the last century...
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK WITH THE PALEHOSE SIX!
I guess there's a lot of people still a little touchy about Oct 2003.
I guess if you follow a loser, you become one.
(And of course then hide behind pseudonyms.)

Nice work, good sense of humor about the personalities on the team.

If being a great man means beating & groping women then I must be a saint.
Dont lower the flag for Puckett.
But to honor him why dont you draw him in as the anchor of the boat. I'd think hed be a perfect fit for that job.

Drew:
No offense to you or Puckett, I'm extremely saddened that he died and at such a young age at that. It truly is a tragic event.
But he has nothing to do with the White Sox or this strip...

Y'all realize Kirby Puckett grew up in the Robert Taylor Homes, in the shadow of Comiskey Park.
Kirby was a Southside native, play high school and college ball right here and I'm sure he was a Sox fan before he became a Twinkie.
He is not a foe. He is one of us.
The hits just keep on coming for Captain Hand & the Palehose!!!

Hey 'uncle you know who', do they still play the blues in Chicago? When baseball season rolls around?
Oh yes they still play the blues in Chicago - but for baseball only on the Nort Side.
By the way 4 oz said needs to lighten up just a wee bit. Taking this way too seriously !!!!
